DIP BRAZING
“Brazing” Definition
“A group of welding processes which produces coalescence of materials by heating
them to a suitable temperature and by using a filler metal having a liquidus temperature
above 840°F(450 °C) and below the solidus temperature of the base materials. The
filler material is distributed between the closely filled surfaces of the joint
by capillary attraction” – AWS definition.

Aluminum Dip Brazing
Aluminum Dip Brazing is an excellent method for consistently producing high quality
multiple joints with varying material thicknesses in complicated assemblies. The
resultant joints are leak-tight and EMI shielded. Joints that can not be achieved
using traditional techniques or parts which may not be joined by all other methods
often can be joined by Aluminum Dip Brazing.
