In our ongoing effort to develop our production technology, we have completed our investment on “Dip Brazing” system and related know-how which enable us to fabricate more complex and tough aluminum parts and assemblies.

DIP BRAZING

“Brazing” Definition

“A group of welding processes which produces coalescence of materials by heating them to a suitable temperature and by using a filler metal having a liquidus temperature above 840°F(450 °C) and below the solidus temperature of the base materials. The filler material is distributed between the closely filled surfaces of the joint by capillary attraction” – AWS definition.

Aluminum Dip Brazing

Aluminum Dip Brazing is an excellent method for consistently producing high quality multiple joints with varying material thicknesses in complicated assemblies. The resultant joints are leak-tight and EMI shielded. Joints that can not be achieved using traditional techniques or parts which may not be joined by all other methods often can be joined by Aluminum Dip Brazing.

Advantages of Dip Brazing

  • Ability to fabricate leak-tight and EMI shielded joints
  • Economical fabrication of complex and multi-component assemblies
  • Simple method to obtain extensive joint area or joint length
  • Joint temperature capability approaching that of base metal
  • Excellent stress distribution and heat-transfer properties
  • Ability to preserve protective metal coating or cladding
  • Ability to join cast materials to wrought metals
  • Ability to join metal thicknesses that vary widely in size
  • Ability to join dissimilar metals
  • Ability to fabricate large assemblies in a stress-free condition
  • Ability to preserve special metallurgical characteristics of metals
  • Capability for precision production tolerance
  • Reproducible and reliable quality control techniques
Quality

Brazement quality is shaped by our customer’s specifications which are generally driven by AWS C3.7 and MIL-B-7883 standards. Braze joint classification is divided into different categories according to the design (service) requirements and the consequences of the possible failures of the products. Our Engineering Team also gives assistance to decide on your quality requirements of your braze joint design to be able to get an optimum solution where price meets quality.
Our service

Our Engineering Team gives extensive support to our customers from conceptual design to final product. Our strong commitment to your challenging project’s success leads us to give our best.
